Why people like USA ?
In USA, people pays money and respect for the skill one possesses. Period.
In all other countries, specially in colonies by UK, people do give importance to other things like, family back ground ( surname ), color of the skin, powerful recommendation apart from one’s skill. These things make matter complicated. Decision making becomes harder.
UK has a deep respect and value history of one’s family! This is the virtue for which they ruled the world for few centuries and they were never conquered by any other nation!
