Congress manifesto states that they will provide one KG rice at Rs. 3/- to the people who are living below poverty line! So, will this remove poverty from India or will it keep poverty in India alive ? Does Congress want to keep poverty in India ? Is it like paying prize for being a poor man!
No doubt, poor people need help. But how does providing rice at Rs. 3/- help poor people coming out of poverty ? How does one know that people will try to remain poor now to avail cheap rice ?
There should be some concrete plan and implementation for eradicating poverty from the world, and I think providing cheap rice to poor is not a solution. Rather it might be a bonus for people being poor!
