India is going to polls in April/May 2009.
UPA is United Progressive Alliance, formed to in 2004 to form the present Dr. Monmohan Singh Government. Mr, Lalu is RJD ( Rashtriya Janata Dal, one of the many Janata Dal, which means party for people) chief, while Mr. Paswan is LJP ( Lok Janashakti Party) chief. Both are from Bihar and both are UPA members and both are Ministers in present UPA government.
Now, in this election, Congress, the largest party in terms of number of MPs, and RJD/LJP are contesting against each other!! But both Mr. Lalu and Mr. Paswan say, they are still part of UPA and they are not going to resign from the government! What kind of part is this ?
