Recent reports say that car sales in India increased in October, 2009.
Not many people may not know the actual reason. The actual reason of increase in sales of cars is due to start of marriage season in India.
Well, during marriage, grooms normally gets some dowry. And now a days, car is a standard gift offered to groom by bride’s family. So, it has nothing to do with economic recovery, effort by marketing push from car manufacturer, but it is purely due to marriage season and dowry system in India.
Most probably, car manufacturer love the dowry system in India!
