If you watch Indian TV news channels, you would observe that they read more lines of opinions on any news than the news itself. For example, if the news if of 10 lines, they will add 20 lines of opinion, analysis on the news!
No doubt, many people would like to hear opinions from ‘experts’, which they do separately too, but why put opinions even on news bulletins ?
Most probably, these channels want to create a community of their channels so that that keep getting more TRPs and steady source of revenues with their viewership. In order to do so, are they compromising on few things about news and ethics ?
