Recently, India has witnessed many honour killing, in New Delhi, the capital city of India!
“Eloping or getting married to one’s own choice may result in murder” may sound quite unbelievable to people from all around the world, in India with ‘rigid’ caste system, it is not any surprising! This one of those contradictions of ‘democracy’ in India! 18 years and above can vote, but they can not marry as per their choice!
On the other hand, what has changes done to the world ? Global warming ? The change in health care, advancement in science has made human a 6billion race destroying every other living thing on this planet! The time has come to look at ‘changes’ with a new dimension! What changes have made of man or human civilisation ?
TGONM’s advice to victim or ‘would be victim’ would be, take the risk only when you can weather it! Being alive may be far more important than eloping! Take smart decisions, find alternatives instead of ‘insulting’ and showing thumb to your parents!
When changes come gradually, people do not mind it! When it is drastic, all resist it, educated people need not forget it or forget to pay the price for it!
